Phyllis Gorsen, born in Philadelphia, PA, works in a mixture of abstraction and representation, focusing on how the commonality of shared patterns connects people together by using symbolism. In 2014, Gorsen received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including galleries in New York, Philadelphia, and California.
