Jessica Libor is an artist from Philadelphia, PA who creates work that deal with beauty, desire, nature, and feminine experience. Myths and legends often influence her work, and she works mostly in oils and precious metals. Jessica's aesthetic is influenced by the Rococo and Pre-Raphaelite periods of art history, as well as theater, set design, high fashion culture. The feminine figure is central in carrying the piece or telling a story, with her surroundings often mirroring her state of mind.
Jessica received her Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2014. Since then, she has been painting, exhibiting her work, teaching art at Harcum College and as a visiting artist at various other universities. Jessica is also the founder of Era Contemporary Gallery, having curated over 10 exhibits so far. She currently divides her time between Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY.
