Sally Eisenberg, Inner Light #2, 2016. monoprint on wood panel, 6 x 6 inches.
Sally Eisenberg writes of her work: Something magical happens when I enwrap myself within color and movement - a dance occurs while mixing together the colors on my palette. I begin each piece of work with one background color and then continue adding more color, texture, shapes and many layers until I feel the piece is complete. Immersing myself in the creative process allows me to express my inner landscape of emotions.
She considers herself a lifelong artist, expressing herself through various media, including acrylics, works on paper, collage, mixed media, and photography.
As a self-taught artist, Sally has also taken classes at PAFA, Fleisher Art Memorial, and University of the Arts. Most of her time is spent in her art studio getting messy and creating.
Solo shows have been held at Twenty-Two Gallery, 1241 Carpenter + Artspace, and Da Vinci Art Alliance, and is scheduled for The Cosmopolitan Club in 2021. She has been a part of many group shows including the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), Fleisher Art Memorial, Naudain Art Collaborative, Da Vinci Art Alliance, ARTSisters, and the Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts.
