Ten Eyck II, 2016, Oil on Linen, 40 x 50 inches.
Ten Eyck II and Radio Towers II, both from 2016, are part of a series that I began in 2012 for which I refer to small plein air paintings of places in my past to create large oil paintings in my studio. By revisiting the moment in which the original small painting was created, on a larger scale over a longer period of time, I re-enter a moment in my past and reconsider its significance.
